A SAD DAY

A sad day indeed!
a big book store chain, is closing it's  doors,  and that is a shame!  just think of  all them people that will lose their jobs.
One of the things I love to do is read,
and not just read, I like to walk though book stores, old and new . I could  send hours looking.     check this blog out  it had a good post  about  book stores   http://bonnieleon.blogspot.com/

Whitcolls, our biggest and oldest bookstore chain closed.

Then Borders closed.

It is sad, my editor told me that publishers are reluctant to get new authors. That is why I self-published, and I am getting a lot of publicity.

Thanks for visiting.

Yes, I completely agree. When I heard about our Borders closing, I felt like I was losing a close friend. I've spent so many hours there! Sigh!

I agree. The first thing I do when visiting a new town is searching out it's bookstores. So far no bookstore has closed here, but I guess it's only a matter of time.
Let's use them while they're still here. e book is definitely not the same to me.

I love bookstores, too. Anytime I want to lose about six hours without even noticing, I go to a book shop. It was a blow when the biggest Borders in Sydney closed down. How could they let that happen?!
